About ME
I have over 20 years of experience working in public health and global development. Over the course of my career, I developed as a leader and a coach while supporting teams from around the world working to improve health systems.
There is a unique complexity and uncertainty that comes with leading purpose driven teams set out to meet high demands and have a positive impact in the world. I know the importance of aligning a team to a common vision and how difficult it can be to harness the talent, commitment, and motivation required for success. The bigger the impact, the more important it is for the team -as a whole and as individuals- to have the tools and resources needed to be resilient, sustain their focus and determination, and continually act for the sake of the desired impact.
I help purpose driven teams diagnose their functionality, align to a common vision, streamline systems, integrate learning, and improve performance.
I help individuals identify what they need and want to live a more fulfilling life, sustain their commitment to making our world better, and thrive in their career and personal life with balance, integrity, and authenticity.
Based in Durham, North Carolina, I offer services locally, throughout the U.S., and abroad. I am a trained Co-Active Coach (CoActive Training Institute) with an Associate Coach Certificate from the International Coaches Federation and a Master of Public Health in International Health and Development, from Tulane University.
Coaching INDIVIDUALS
Coaching is a powerful approach that facilitates reflection, uncovering values, setting goals, and establishing habits. I coach individuals from all around the world who want to make a difference in the world while also taking care of themselves. As a thought and accountability partner, I help my clients identify what they need and want to sustain their commitment to making our world better and to thrive in their career and personal life with balance, integrity, and authenticity.
Coaching teams
At one point in my global health career, I directed a project with over 60 staff, assigned to 10 different teams, working across 8 countries. In order to stay aligned to our objectives, clear in our commitments, and in constant action we had to continually connect as a team. As a result, we were able to perform at a high level and make a difference where we worked. Through team coaching, I diagnose functionality, guide alignment with a common purpose, streamline systems, integrate learning, and improve performance.
